Spring Break week!

So last week was Derek's spring break! It was the perfect week because it was during both Derek and Braedon's birthdays! We made sure that it was packed with fun! I didn't take pictures of all of the events (sometimes I forget!) but I will still go day by day and tell you about all the fun we had!

Monday

We went to the zoo with Derek's parents and Braedon's cousins Holly and Andrew! It was such a beautiful day! I got fried!!! Of course! Braedon's favorite animal was the elephant!


Tuesday (sorry no pictures)
We took Braedon to Chuck E Cheese so he could get his free pizza and play hard! Normally when we take him he rides the rides the entire time. Not this time...when you turn 2 I guess you are old enough to play all of the games. His favorite one was ski ball! After that we took Braedon to see the Horton movie. It was a very good movie but we have decided that Braedon won't be going back to a theater until he is 12!

Wednesday
Derek's birthday! You would think that we would do whatever Derek wanted on this day...guess not! We first went to Kamas to visit Cheryl and her two kids Kayli and Bryce. She is in town for her sisters wedding and this is the best day we could find to see each other! I know I had a lot of fun seeing them and talking with Cheryl! Braedon most definitely had a fun time running around and playing with Kayli!



After visiting with them we went to Park City. We had already stopped by there earlier to drop my mom and sister off to get a good start on their shopping! So we joined them and went shopping for the rest of Derek's birthday! What a good sport! Here is a cute picture of Aubrey, Braedon, and Grandma all wearing their sunglasses!


Thursday
Derek's parents were so nice to babysit Braedon for us this day! We started off by going to Toys r us to finally get Braedon's birthday shopping done! It was a shopping trip full of hard decisions! After that we went out to Tucanos for Derek's birthday lunch! It was very good and it was so nice to be out with just each other!

Friday
Now this was a big day! This was the first of a three day birthday celebration for Braedon! We had his cousin birthday party this day! He was so excited! He even got to wear new birthday clothes!

Braedon's party was a bug party. Here we are playing pin the spider on the web.

Braedon had lots of fun at his party! He loved blowing his candles out and eating his cake!


Saturday
We opened Braedon's present from Derek and me on this day because Derek had to be at church early the next morning! Here are a couple of pictures of him and his great new presents!



Sunday
This was Braedon's actual birthday! We had a big party at my parents house but once again I failed to take pictures!

My little boy is 2!!!

That's right...today is Braedon's birthday! Happy Birthday little man! He thinks that his birthday is the coolest thing in the world, mostly because we have been celebrating it non stop for the past few days! On Friday we had his cousin birthday party, then last night he opened his presents from Derek and me since Derek had to be at church at 7:30 this morning, and tonight we are going to my parents to have another big birthday celebration! When I got him out of his crib this morning and started singing Happy Birthday to him, he said "should we blow out some candles!" How cute is he!?! Anyway, I will be posting lots of pictures from all of these celebrations, just not today! So stay tuned...

Happy Birthday Derek!

I just wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband! He is an amazing father and husband and we love him so much!!!

It's a BOY!

Yep, that is correct. We will be having another little boy in August. I had my ultra sound today...obviously. It went really well. He looks good and healthy! He is measuring a week early which is great because I plan on having my C-section a week early! Braedon still isn't sure what is going on. I told him that we were going to the doctors to see pictures of the baby inside Mommy's belly, I think he is still wondering when he is going to see those pictures! I guess a 2 year old doesn't quite get the concept of a black and white ultra sound! I will be posting some pictures hopefully in the next few days. I just need a chance to scan them in. So, there you have it! We are very excited and can't wait to meet this little guy in 4 months!
